Just thought I would post a link that would explain some of the issues that Edward would have been dealing with while under the influence of cocaine and during his recovery period. The effects of withdrawal are not as physical as those typically discussed and I believe that makes a difference when thinking about the time he spent with Bella and how he would have reacted once he thought she had left him.
